"Go out and make a miracle today, God's busy, He can't do it all."
These
were the words of wisdom Ursula learned from apple-cheeked Rosa Goldberg, one
of more than 18,000 European Jews who fled Nazi Germany and found an uneasy,
fragile, and often terrifying haven in far-away China.
Margaret Moran, well known Oregon artist, created a glorious painting and gave fascinating form, brilliant color and masterful music to these words of wisdom, and in the spirit of divine illumination, honored the past and the people who so enriched my life.
